Fatherhood Initiative

PSD Early Childhood Programs is on a mission to reach out to the male figures in the lives of the children that we serve. It does not have to be just a father. It can be uncle, grandfather, step-parent, etc. Anyone considered a “father-figure” in the child’s life. Our goal is to connect more fathers with children and continue to build engagement among families. We do this with a focus on activities designed specifically for men/fathers, such as discussions on topics important to fathers of young children, picnics, field trips, education classes, workforce development, and a variety of fun father/child engagement activities. The meetings are open to any father / father-figure residing in Pearl River County.
